Red Lake School District, in conjunction with the districts of Regions 1 & 2, are hosting CPI Nonviolent Crisis Intervention Foundation Course with Advanced Physical Skills (Blended) from June 16th - 19th, 2020 at the Bemidji High School. In this course, participants will learn additional skills in risk assessment and problem solving, along with facilitation strategies for teaching advance physical interventions to staff. Participants will also obtain, re-certify, or renew their PI certification. The course will meet from 8:30 AM - 4:30 PM in the Social Studies Breakout A at BHS from June 16th - 19th. Participants will be expected to complete two to three hours of online learning in advance of the classroom training. Participants also need to register with CPI using the attached registration form. Course fees are $3,450 for renewing instructors and $4,550 for re-certification or initial instructor certification. Course fees must be paid directly to CPI.
